Hi! I am Michele Frey and I love to share my passion of food and nutrition with, well, pretty much everyone! I live in Massachusetts and grew up in a traditional Italian household in the suburbs of Boston. So naturally, food and cooking were pretty central to our family life. Though I have held a lifelong passion for food and nutrition, I wasn’t always a nutritionist. I spent 25+ years working as an engineer, but I was constantly attending conferences and seminars to explore the body mind spirit connection to learn and stay abreast of the current trends in health and nutrition. My gnawing interest in using food as medicine grew deeper as I experimented with many things to help my three kids overcome typical childhood illnesses as they grew, as well as my own health issues. The elusive source of my chronic inflammation seemed to boggle every practitioner I visited, but, as a natural problem-solver, I was determined to figure it out.
This is what ultimately drove me to reinvent myself and become a nutritionist. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a masters in human nutrition from University of Bridgeport. Throughout my studies and my own health journey, I humbly learned that there is so much more to nutrition than just the food and, more importantly, that there’s no one solution or perfect diet. I meet clients where they are and love helping them find what works for their unique biochemistry and current health concerns.
When I’m not working or cooking, I enjoy spending time with my husband & adult children and scrapbooking our memorable moments, getting lost in a good book, biking, and getting to the beach whenever I can.
