Nice to meet you! I’m Dr. Rob Boyd and I am a naturopathic doctor, researcher and co-founder of Terrain Clinic.
My main focus is digestive disease with a special emphasis on IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Too many individuals are left with no answers or options when they receive an IBS diagnosis. I am committed to helping people overcome their digestive struggles so that they can feel their absolute best. Our digestive system is our foundation of health. I help to improve it by investigating all areas that can be potentially having a disruptive effect and putting together a comprehensive solution for my clients. I believe that when people digest well, their overall health improves dramatically.
I grew up just outside of Dallas, TX and graduated with my B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Before going back to medical school, I worked in healthcare IT consulting. While working in that industry, I realized I wanted to have a direct effect in helping people, but I wanted to do it through focusing on health and nutrition. This is what drove me to naturopathic medicine. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport with my Doctorate in Naturopathic medicine. I was proud to be awarded with the Clinical Excellence award for my class and went on to complete residency at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine. During residency, I had the honor to work alongside world-renowned physician Dr. Peter D’Adamo.
When you come see me, you can expect that I will work diligently to understand your health concerns and goals. I develop realistic plans for my clients that can fit within a busy schedule and everything is focused on helping you achieve the results you want. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including nutrition counseling, herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, lifestyle counseling, genomic analysis, and microbiome analysis.
In my spare time, I love traveling, getting outdoors, and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
I look forward to partnering with you on your health journey and getting to the root cause of your health concerns.
